Hi,

I've been told it takes 20 minutes to hypnotize your participants (10 minutes before the induction + 10 minutes of induction).

Do you need as much time for the feats described in Mc Gill's book? Do you condition your participants before the show...?

Thanks.

Hi, Julien.

It depends on the induction you're using. There are rapid inductions and not-so-rapid inductions. Also, your pre-talk can be short or long depending on how you write it.

I would recommend going to:

Inductions can be as short as thirty seconds. A lot depends on the pre-hypnosis induction. If your advance publicity has done it's job. Many in the audience will be in some sort of hypnotic state before you start.
