I just updated the Egg Bag reference page at: http://magicref.tripod.com
Go to the Magic Pages, Magic References Tab, and down to the Egg Bag. Do you want to perform the Egg Bag routine and want to do all the research possible before putting together your routine? The Egg Bag reference page lists many of the books, DVDs, and props that provide egg bag or egg bag related routines and how-to's. The last update on this page was in 2007, and I was quite surprised at how many additional references I was able to add this year. If you know of books, videos, or props that I've missed, please let me know (via e-mail: magicref (at) lycos.com is best) and I'll update the pages again. Hope it helps! Doug A. |

Thank you for including the reference to the Magicnook's "Ungimmicked Egg Bag Routine." The author of that e-Book is Jim Gerrish and it is 31 pages long, in case you want to add that information. The link at the bottom leads to your Magic Resource Link page, but on that page there is no reference to http://www.magicnook.com
I have placed a link to your site on my own Indices of books that identify magical inventors: http://magicnook.com/forum/projectTOC.htm Your site has the most complete list of indices to magic books I have ever seen in one place and I hope it will outlive both of us and remain an important resource for all magicians, authors and inventors.

Spellbinder,
Thanks for bringing the missing link to my attention, I'll add Magicnook to the Links page at my next update. There are two other magic book contents sites that I am aware of: Denis Behr's: http://archive.denisbehr.de/ Denis wrote his own web-database program so you can search for any book. Very nice! I've given Denis permission to incorporate any book on my website as he sees fit. Jacky and Marc's http://www.magicbooks.be/ MagicBooks.be is another resource for lots of book contents. I've also given them the permission to use the TOCs from my site. An older site as mentioned on Magicbooks.be was The MagicFiles, which has sadly gone away. As you mention, we'd like this info to outlive us, so the more places it exists, the more likely it will survive if, for example, I lose my website. Posted: Nov 8, 2009 7:11pm Pete, Thanks for another great reference! I'll add it at the next update. Doug A. |

You should add a note to Tarbell 5 that it includes David Tobias Bamberg's Egg Bag. A 24" x 17" monster by modern standards.
Thanks for the update Doug. As you know I love your egg bag site. I true labor of love. Two thumbs up.

Pete, Spellbinder, & Jeff,
Updates to the Egg Bag page have been updated. I also updated the Color Changing Knives pages (both article and reference guide) and am now working on the Billiard Ball reference... Doug A. |
