David,
Now that you have 50 posts you will be able to view areas like "Secret Sessions" which may provide you with a wealth of cool information not available to you before! Good luck in your search! |

Rene Levand has a great deck switch on one of his DVDs. It's not sleight of hand, and it will require "making" something... but it looks great and he gives two or three routines that use it.

More info on Rene Lavand's deck switch: It's on his Close Up Artistry set of DVD, on Disk 3. One of the routines using it is "Escape of the Deck."

Juan Tamariz's Mnemonica has a section on deck switches which are all extremely practical and are taken from a number of sources. Both gimmicked and gimmickless switches are discussed. Can't remember but I think he covers 10 or 12 different switches.
Card College (vol. 4 or 5, I believe) has a chapter on deck switches as well which cover a number of different techniques.

It seems like everybody is looking for deck switches that are "easy" and "good."
Maybe some one should be original and try to find some hard deck switches that are bad. Dennis Loomis

I love Tommy Wonders approach the deck switch... If you don't already have his books of wonder and as a compilation to the books his videos "Awesome stuff!" What makes his deck switch so under the radar, is there's absolutely no heat on the cards whatsoever! "Great Stuff!"
May he rest in peace " We love you Tommy!" |
