This is not only fun and entertaining to watch but I also learned a lot from there too.

A few people over at Itricks have gotten a bit grumpy over the site

I'm sure there are going to be reactions that run the gamut from thrilled to furious. Everybody's different.

I just checked, and BadMagicPhotos.blogspot.com is gone. I wonder what the story is on this turn of events.

It would be interesting to know.

It is amazing how far political correctness has come! Personally, I think people should have their sacred cows tipped over once in a while.

Some of the photos were of some very gifted magicians, I am sure they did not appreciate there image being portrayed in that manner.

Then, I think, they should be large enough to see the humor. A number of people were illustrated, not one or two being attacked. It is easy to see the humor when it involves others, but not so when it involves oneself. The inability to laugh at oneself implies a small, fragile ego.

I still gets lots of laughters just looking at my very old photos and cannot imagine how on earth I thought those poses were cool

I just found the box with some of my original magic photos that I wanted to send them. One of them is me in a lime green disco jumpsuit with a cheap duck puppet on my hand. Horrendous. I have to laugh when I see it (so I don't cry thinking about how many agents I sent this to).

It is a real joke (to me now) that those old photos were sent to as many agents and think that they will bring in shows. Those were the days. This means we have travlled a long way from those golden days.

I too find the humor in all of it but its not me. I was only guessing as I knew some of the magicians on there are full time workers. If they submitted their own photo that is one thing, like MrGreggy might have but when it is taken from your web site or other areas on the net then we are talking copy right issues. Removing ones image from one source and placing it on another without permission is in direct infringement on their rights and is unethical. It does not matter if it brings you laughter and enjoyment to see the photos and the little comments, the fact is if everyone just re-posted others images. When its your career, bread and butter you may not want any negative or funny comments made about you. Again this is only a guess!! Who knows why it came down.
