Hello all! Long time reader, first time poster (That whole free email system to become a member here was making it hard to join!)
Anyways, I love I.T., its a whole lot of fun! My favorite item is the spider pen. As nice as the spider pen is, I have found that the quality is a little lacking. The plastic likes to crack, and the top "clicker" is not built very well. I'm looking for higher quality spider pen alternatives. Something perfect would be an "executive style" spider pen, something of higher quality. Also, any recommendations of other cool I.T. products you guys know about would be cool. So far, besides the spider pen (I've owned about five of them so far), I have the Tarantula, iThread, and the Stealth Retractor.
The performance is what really makes it all worth while.

I never had much trouble with my spider pen. You just have to learn its limits and stay within them. For most spider pen effects you can get by with an IT reel. Simpler and sturdier.
Sean Bogunia came out with a remote reel that worked pretty good on the demos I saw, but I have never seen the actual device first hand.

Thank you for the reply! I do own the item by Sean Bogunia you are referring to, it is called iThread. He has come out with a new item (currently sold out) called Deck TR. which is basically the same device but hidden in a playing cards box.

Stay tuned ... the Executive spider pen should be out sometime next year. I think it's called Spider Pen Pro or something like that.
