Hello everyone. I am considering getting this soon and am wondering how good the content is. Is it a good companion to Dear Mr. Fantasy (does it have similiar writing style), is the material good, and is this a good substitute for the DVDs or should I get both? Thanks!

Everything in the book [with the exception of 1 poker deal routine] is on the dvd
set so I would say no. Just get the dvd's.

I got both and the lecture notes are actually a 60 some page book. The material is great. I still like a book to learn magic from but the DVDs shows the personality of Bannon which is a great study in itself. Get both!!!!!!!

I got both and like them both, but I enjoy the book more than the DVD (maybe because I'm already very familiar with the DMF effects). The writing style is very similar to DMF, and the additional poker deal routine is indeed one of my favourite effects in the book.

The exception of poker routine is something.
The presentation is very very good. And it is easy to remember. Very easy. |
