Hi you all:

Just wanted to thank you because this topic encouraged me to buy B.A.D. from Bannon and the one I've been looking over that's Corinda's 13 steps with Osterlind.

Just wanted to thank you all and give my vote for this topic as one of the best in DVD's of this year!!

Que viva la magia!!

Tuoni...

Despite its flaws and the uneven quality of some of the tricks, I'm going to go for "True Astonishments" too. There was something special about the tone and vibe of the piece, and it really was more than the sum of its parts. Second, though, would be "The Classic Magic of Michael Vincent" for the set's commitment to actual teaching and trying to build a relationship with the view.

For overall magic... I vote for "True Astonishments".

(If it were just cards..."Bullets after Dark".)

True astonishments as a whole was the best overall set. As for trick, maybe Deep 3
Looking to BUY: Penomenon Writer (Black version), Ghost Cap (Porper), CAPtivated, Glass Mirage, Just a Key (Porper)

I really enjoyed the disk with the inside-out card (esp. the conversation between bro, gerard, and PH)

It would be hard to beat Paul Harris's True Astonishment set. I'll revisit these for many, many years.

I performed the BIG TINY last night and the reactions even surprised me. I don't even know how or why that effect works. Maybe that helps in my performance. Who knows. But, like many of the set's effects, it's killer.

Hey, the guys in my ring (who aren't on internet) voted 3 votes for Jack Carpenter DVD, 2 votes for Michael Vincent Classic Magic DVD, 6 votes for Paul Gordon Card Startlers and 5 votes for John Bannon Bullets after Dark. I guess these wont count here, but gotta' tell you. Oh yeah, they all want Harry Lorayne to make a NEW set for 2010. I gotta agree. JP
