Hey there everyone, I just wanted to announce a gret new product by Mikame
it is called the Square Squared. It is similar to the classic Squared Circle.
You can order it from your favorite dealer world wide right now!
here is the link to our site where you can see the info and a demo

I watched the demo for squared squared and I have to say I wasn’t impressed. I don’t know if it was the lighting for the video or what, but the gimmick appeared obvious to me. I believe the advantage of depth, that the squared circle provides, makes for a more deceptive illusion. I don’t want to say too much but the gimmick on every squared circle I have seen is invisible because the eye doesn’t have a flat plain to focus on.

I have to agree with you. It did seem obvious on this to, me as well. Also, for some reason, I really don't like the packs flat, personally.

Packs flat is a very big thing here in Japan where cars are small, and it's just as likely you'd be going to a gig toting a suitcase on a train. I can understand why Mikame wanted it to pack flat. The Mikame rabbit table (which I own) is lightweight and packs down to being only 4 inches thick for that very reason. It's great for when I must go by train.

That being said, I probably wouldn't go for this for the reasons mentioned above. It seems to give itself away.

I have one of these. I can assure you it is the lighting on the video that looks bad. I have been performing magic for twenty five years. I have used it in both parlor and stage in my last few shows and it kills! Plus, it looks classy. I'm VERY happy with mine! It is even MORE deceptive that the original squared circle.
