What feeling do you females have for Dave Blaine?

Dear Dynamike,

I don't like his performance style very much, in fact if he had approached me in his earlier performances (the televised ones) I'd have been afraid of him (he looked like a drug addict). Now, (although he certainly looks more healthy) I guess I just find him boring. I don't think he'd like my magic much either though.

You have to remember I'm probably not the demographic he's going for. I have noticed that he was mentioned (positively) a lot by the people I performed for for a while and so was Chris Angel. I think they both made people more open to watching Magic. that's a plus.

I don't know what effect my gender has on my answer. I don't claim to answer for all females, and I wonder if perhaps some men feel the same way I do. If so, I suspect their age my have more of a bearing on the subject than their gender.

Being an escape artist I like him.. I think Criss Angel is more a show man and less just a stunt guy like David. Both have elevated awareness in escape which as far as I am concerned is a good thing. Criss with a weekly show I think really has helped to make escapes more main stream. When I explain what I do to people they mention Criss right away. Bottom line is Criss and David have made it easier for me to do what I do and for that I appreciate their efforts.
