I've got EB as well and this looks like a few new variations, but I don't know that they are necessarily improvements... EB is extremely visual and I can't see how you can get any better other that somehow switching it out so you can hand it out or having the magic happen in the spectators hands... but you may not get the lute back then...

I agree what is new with 2.0.
The first change in the video above is on version 1.0. However that last change with the wrist turn look new. |

5 ones to a lute?
Still a pretty impressive change if you ask me. |

I don't really see how Extreme burn could be better. Maybe just difference in handling. (Which may merely complicate things).
Personally I think the folding part for Hand out 500 isn't justified. 3 cheers to Extreme burn. |

If you scroll down to the bottom, it looks like it'll be available February 1st. Quite soon!

I am very excited about this update on the fantastic bill change.
EB has treated and still treats me well to this very day. I have picked it over all the others. Im not sure either how Sanders could make it better, but I guess we will see in a few days. ps. I am new to the Café and I am excited to be among such great minds |

Honestly, I can't really tell the difference between the first one and this. But it's from Sander, so I'll wait and see...

I ordered it today. I don't know if I will perform it with the examinable bills, but certainly want to see the new gimmick.
Extreme Burn (the original) gets such a great reaction. To the audience it's the best thing I do! Sammy

Extreme Burn (1.0) was virtually undetectable (if made and performed correctly). It should be the same with version 2.0 (even more so). So, the fact that you didn't see any difference is a good thing. Having said that, I must say that the video does not show the most important addition ... a demo of the handout method. I would suggest that, like many other second version effects, they may wish to protect the handout method (not the gimmick) and not include it in the video demo. Otherwise, the method may be easily discerned by those who have Extreme Burn and thus prevent sales of the upgrade. As much as we like to consider ourselves artists of this fine craft, we still need to eat today so that we can live to create, innovate, and perform another day. Quote:

Its simple guys it is just a himber wallet
|

elimagic Inner circle 1663 Posts |
Well I'm not sure that's it. I don't think this wallet is special, I think it is just a carrying tool. Something so that the gimmick doesn't get bent or anything. But of course noone really knows for sure until it comes out

Ah, the guessing game. I know it well.
I'm a little skeptical about it being a himber wallet also, especially since himber wallets all on their own can be quite expensive. Although I'd be pretty thrilled if it was. My order is in. |

I wonder about the wallet and the role it plays. I currently use a fire wallet to produce my extreme burn from. The two work well together.
I highly doubt that it's a himber wallet. If that were the case, why not just turn the ones to hundreds using the himber method? Not visible, but it would work. If you have studied "Handout 500" you know that the bill packet has to be introduced quite carefully. I wonder if the wallet with Extreme Burn 2.0 is needed for the same reason. Should know soon. Read this from his site and just think about it for 5 seconds:
HAND OUT TECHNIQUES: 5 Hand Out Techniques that will allow you to visually change your bills and then immediately hand them out for complete examination. It says there are 5 ways to hand out the bills. If it's a himber wallet, there wouldn't be another 4 ways to hand them out. Plus, it says you can "immediately" hand out the bills to be examined. |

Well, if it really is immediately after, I don't think any other bill change, including EB 1, stands a chance

I think the old adage of "if it's not broken then don't fix it" or words to that effect still applies. If you've performed this satisfactorily without having to hand ALL the bills out at the end (because you can hand out SOME of them), then is it necessary to do so? Just something to think about.
p.s. in the interest of full disclosure, I have pre-ordered EB2.0 and can't wait for it to arrive. |
