Useless rant. Yesterday I got a magic DVD that shipped from England on 2/17/09. No DVD from Richard, no shipping confirmation and no reply to inquiry e-mail (but a completed pay-pal transaction. I am sure he is a busy guy, gets a lot of these and figures delivery dates are beyond his control. I know at the end of it all I will get the product and be satisfied but not all magic creators are equally adept at product distribution or customer service

OMG!! Richard is a frakkin genius (and much credit goes to those who inspired and helped him along the way)!!
I just finished watching the DVD. I felt like I just walked out of a private lecture with Richard and myself (without the uncomfortable chairs though). This upgrade was well worth the money. The money I paid for this upgrade is much less than the cost of a lecture with Richard - and I get three improved gimmicks! So what's got me so excited about this upgrade? There are a few handout techniques that he describes - in detail. None of them are very technical nor do they require any difficult sleight of hand. You can choose the one that fits your personality, routine, or act. You even combine more than one to achieve a more powerful routine. The gimmicks have been improved. How? Go buy the upgrade (or the full version - you won't regret it) The one tip about using magazine clippings was invaluable. The issue he addresses is the reason I have been afraid to perform this effect on most occasions. Now I can re-assemble my bills to include his tip and never be afraid again (hallelujah). The Bruce Cervon Change - 'nuf said (go buy the product) So the wallet ... well it's nothing to jump up and down about. Most card magicians already have one or more (I have dozens). But it never occurred to me to use it with this effect - that's why he's Richard Sanders (and thank you Steve Haynes) and I'm not. Truth is, you could use your own wallet, but why. I carry too much junk (not the money) in my wallet already. So now I use the small card wallet and within it I carry my Extreme Burn 2.0, Powerball 60, and a credit card effect (it looks real). To the unsuspecting (that rules out you magicians) it looks like a regular thin wallet. With that wallet I am ready to perform three very powerful effects (well ... two powerful and one cute) anytime ... anywhere. Thank You Richard! May this effect live long and may you prosper (I'm a huge Star Trek fan) Posted: Feb 23, 2010 7:10pm Hey All, I have a question for Master Richard or anyone who has been using Extreme Burn and Extreme Burn 2.0. I can not ask the question in this forum without tipping the gimmick. It's a question concerning the construction of the gimmick. So could someone please PM me? P.S. If you are concerned that I may not actually have either of the products, I assure you I've bought them both. So I can tell you the color of Richards shirt at time index 1:01. Thanks in advance

I received mine (the upgrade version) yesterday. It was pretty fast (from Canada to Portugal). By the way: excellent material. RS is a genius.

I finally had a chance to work with this tonight. I made the gimmick and watched and went along with the video. Richard teaches you everything you need to know and in a very well thought out pace. You do feel like you are in a private session with him. I did not buy Extreme Burn so I was not sure what to expect. I'm very glad I bought Extreme Burn 2.0---it was money well spent.
I highly recommend this effect. Good magic to all, Eric |

Received the upgrade version from Richard. No problems with the shipping. Great service as usual. Well worth the additional expense.

May I ask, is there anyone who frequents this forum, has ordered from Richard and still not received the EB 2? I would feel more confident if I was not alone.

It is a little disappointing that the whole point of ordering from Richard was to be one of the first to receive the DVD. (not to mention the free shipping). But evidently some folks that ordered from online shops already got their DVD. You're not alone.... Rochaz

I placed order on 2-05-10....I received confirmation that it shipped on 2-12-10...
...I received it on 2-23-10 from Richard Sanders. (Canada to USA)

I ordered it from Richard on Feb 9th and still have not recieved it. This will be the last time I will ever order anything direct. Im in New Jersey and I find it unacceptable to wait so long for a product to arrive from Canada. From now on Ill be ordering Richards products from the dealers.

I can assure you that if there is a problem as to slow delivery service it is on the part of the Canadian postal service and not the U.S. postal service. I personally find the U.S.P.S to be extremely fast and reliable.

Gotta love the USPS I have received many a package across country in two days. I got my Extreme Burn 2 from Richard last Saturday the 20th. Fairly quick coming from Canada to Indiana
I find the new gimmick to be invisible in the bill

I guess its fair to say that the initial thoughts are positive for the 2.0 upgrade?

I ordered EB2 from MJM last Monday and it was at my house on Wednesday. Pretty darn good service! I order quite a lot from MJM. They are in California and I'm in Illinois and I have always gotten my orders within 2 or 3 days via USPS.
I was going to order just the upgrade but decided to order the full package instead. It's worth every penny and more. The information on the CD is fantastic and the new gimmick is much better.
It's not the size of the wand that matters, it's the "magic" in it...

I got three postcards from England today..I averaged out the times of each and after an exhausting analysis I calculated that the average mail time was 3 days! Highly interesting. I'll keep you all posted.

I have been doing sb1 for some time and I love it as well. I bought a money clip which I keep it folded up in which protects it and keep everything clean and sharp, it looks very natural when I take it out.
I know this isn't anything revolutionary but I keep a few extra singles and I hand those out. I also have the waitresses tip in the packet and give that to her and then perform the trick for the table comes off natural and freaks out the waitress every time. I really have a lot of fun doing this and paying the waitress gets their full attention. then boom you hit them with the change. They always want to give back their tip back and exchange them for the larger bills. I just ordered sb2 hope its worth it. |

It's great to read the reviews on this (& any effect) but why oh why oh why do we have to wade through scores of posts telling us when you ordered the *** thing & whether it's arrived or not. No one cares. Just post when you have something useful to say. Delivery issues should be taken up with the supplier & not here.
