I found a fairly detailed description of the Bowl of Oranges production , with a clear drawing of the device which looks like it is more or less the same as the photo of the "Assisto" device I remember seeing in the auction catalog. It is found in TOPS magazine, in the September 1942 issue (page 16) and concluding in the October 1942 issue (page 13 and 14.)
