There is going to be a new show on the National Geographic channel starting on Dec 6th that takes stunts that push the body and examines them scientifically. Its called Humanly impossible. I was chosen for the blockhead stunt, but there is also sword swallowing, strongmen, competitive eating, contortion, etc... Let me know what you think. My only concern with a show like this is the possibility of others trying it.

My only concern is that this show chose not to feature a Humanly Impossible stunt involving a man who can tow a car with his piercings.

Discovery Canada's been running 'guinea pig' for a couple of years now.
Same show premis, but with all the stunts being performed by one guy (Ryan Stock). We haven't had any copycat issues up here...think you're safe. congrats! |

Guinea Pig was on in the US for a bit (scifi channel I think), but I don't think the ratings were all that good. Don't believe it's on anymore here.

Nippulini, maybe in season two!
Never heard of Guinea pig, sounds cool though; I'll have to look it up. So far Natgeo seems to be trying to really push the show; it has a sunday at 8pm time slot and I've been seeing ads for it on myspace and such... hopefully it will be a hit and get me some more work! |

I hate to be the only opposing view in this thread but I have never been a fan of this type of entertainment. While congratulations are in order for your fortune, personally I would not want to take a risk of a child seeing this and trying it in one fashion, form, or another. Any kid can run and grab a hammer and nails out of the garage and later require serious medical attention. All to often TV is a form of babysitting and not monitored as it should be by adults.

I hate to disturb them though. My son is reading on the bed of nails and my daughter is feeding the pythons. I'll tell them after chores and homework. Seriously Muggle man- Move on. Gwyd |

Ban it all,,,,cowboy films, war films and games, conkers, fishing, shooting, driving, Farting (Could get gassed), sex,,,could get over excited, etc etc.
The nanny state rules. In Oz they are going to prosecute the eating of rat on TV. Off to sit in my sound proofed, kid proofed, TV proofed box. Yep and bikes should be banned too,,,,kids could fall off of them,,,damn things should be road taxed and made to pay insurance and the bl@@dy idiots on them should be made to walk or put stabilisers on em. So there. |
