Abbott's Magic has the effect in stock, if you are close to Colon, MI, stop in and Greg will show you this prop.
I have one on order, the only concern I have is will it cut the balloon, being it is made of metal. The Supreme Magic version was made of plastic cup and un-likely to do this. |

I guess my questions are:
Can this be performed alone or does it require an assistant? How difficult is the set up? Can the balloon be examined or given away as a souvenir with the silk inside? Does the silk slowly appear in the balloon or is it kind of a flash production of the silk suddenly inside the balloon? Thanks.

Yes, you can perform alone, that is what the stand is used for, if you had an lovely assistant, then no stand is necessary.
Set-up is not to difficult, it is not for strolling close-up magic, is that is what you mean. Yes, you can give away the balloon with the silk inside. Can get expensive at the cost of silks. No, the silk appears quickly. Why would you want to have the silk appear slowly? A number of performers ususally follow this with the Needle Thru Balloon and then burst the balloon. Yes the silk can be used in another effect, in case you were wondering. |
