Is anyone here familiar with Radionics (called psionics in some circles)? If so, has anyone used it in a bizarre presentation?
In theory it could the basis of a whole show, since it's supposed to be able to do so much.

Maybe this would be less bizarre and more offbeat mentalism?

The idea to use most of this kind of units is for healing. In the USA it`s against the law to use them with people, so, be careful. That´s why I never thought to use radionics. Cheers! |

My understanding is that the US government officially says radionics doesn't do anything, therefore its not illegal to use radionics with people but to make claims about its efficacy, esp. in health issues. You may already know that some occultists use radionics boxes and other paraphernalia for practical magical uses, this is one thing I thought might be an interesting theme in performance. A brief history of radionics including the controversy in the US and lack thereof in Europe, perhaps a rate prediction, affecting a volunteer positively of negatively, tuning in to various locations for a remote viewing effect or a drawing duplication. None of it would be for real (except for some nice stuff maybe ), but the methods, history et al would be totally accurate. At this point it's just an idle thought and I'm not sure if I'll do anything with it, but I'm curious about your (and others) thoughts.

It's not against the law to use them on people in the U.S.A., however it is against the law to make any claims as to their medical efficacy. It's also illegal to sell them. Many years ago I had a friend who ordered several hundreds of dollars of books on radionics from Europe. They were confiscated by customs and not allowed to enter the country.
