Hi:
This night I have a Walkaround gig and I go to put the new stuff to work, I have some time...5 months right now....working with the Diamon Jim Tyler ring on rope routine and today I hope to have the guts to do it in public...I plan to add the gag of Rich Marotta in where the ring finally appears on a box that have a finger ( obviously mine ) with the ring on it. Anyone here does this in his regular shows? Is only a gag or people would appreciate it before the laugh???

Hey Hansel hope your gig kills!

I remember when I was a kid in the neighborhood and used that fun gag with the finger in the box. After buildup of a finger I found at the scene of a car wreck and other kids wanting to see it in the box I would remove the lid and there on a bed of cotton was a real looking cut off finger(blood and all). Asked if they wanted to touch it,some didn`t, but the ones that did got the surprise of their young life when it quickly rose up!! Yikes!! It was hilarious! Some even ran away!

I like the finger ring climax appearance on it even better, never thought of that. Had been using the vox box method before his post.
