I am about to get some Walking Liberty Copper Silver coins made and was hoping for some feedback on preferences. There are several options.
Silver Head/Copper Head - Nice for a Spellbound routine Silver Head/Copper Tail - Nice if you use with a Copper Expanded [ and with shell on it looks like a copper coin front and back Copper head Silver Tail - Nice if you want to use a Silver Expanded [ and it looks like a full Silver coin. Silver tail/Copper Tail - Can't see anything useful for this but maybe someone else does. Also would it be better for the copper coin to be Shiny or tarnished if the Silver is tarnished and circulated. Also would it be better with a Queen Elizabeth II or a older King George? Any input would be appreciated. TC |

Quote: That sounds like a good idea. Cause most, if not all are made with a tail and head side. As long as we can get a she** over either side to look as one single coin, Lets do it.On 2009-12-18 21:27, TC Ryder wrote:

I would definitely be interested in that Barber head/King George Head. Sounds awesome.

I have a Barber set with a King George Copper/Silver. It's beautiful. The King George is really dark and contrasts so nicely with the silver. I rarely pick up halves any more, they feel like quarters after using dollars for so long. But still an amazing set. The Barber shell fits perfectly over the CS making a sweet reverse Sun/Moon also.

That is a gorgeous coin. One of the best copper coins I have seen.

I had one of my (beautiful looking) 10 French Francs Sterling Silver coins actually copper plated. This means that when doing a copper silver routine, one coin is not switched for another one, the coin changes nature... It means that a copper silver routine can be combined with a Spellbound routine: I start with two copper ones and one leave one on to the table, do a Spellbound routine and then move into a Copper Silver routine with the one that changed into silver.

Lawrence,
That sounds like a great looking coin and routine. Would love to see it on video. Cheers TC |

This thread on C/S is probably not the right thread to share our knowledge about this but there is a trailer done by Tango which shows the versatility of his invention. It's not just a routine it's a new concept which is, IMHO, as important as the [ or the Flipper.

Thank you sir. I'm still trying to figure out what gaffs the TUC contains. I doubt I will be buying anything new since I have a few coins coming from Schoolcraft soon and don't want to mix Kennedy halves with Walking Liberty ones.

It similar to some other coins, yet very unique. I'm no expert, but it seems to be able to do a lot of what you could do with other, more common gaffs. However, the opposite is not true. I'm having a great time creating with it.

Well somehow this thread has gone from Copper/Silver to TUC. But since you we are talking about it I got a TUC IKE Dollar today and it is awesome.
I will put pictures up of the Copper/Silver coins once they come back from the shop. TC |
