Actually, three in my case. They should keep me mentally (pardon the pun) busy for quite some time:
13 Steps to Mentalism
Practical Mental Magic
Annemann: The Life and Times of a Legend

Your turn--did you buy yourself any magical goodies for the holidays?

A couple E-books and supplies to make a couple of effect that I have until know been little more than ideas. They unfortunately are not going too well at the moment, but I am far from giving up.

Will probably also pick up John Bannon's recently released DVDs.

I heard some good reviews on that DVD, Meery Christmas. I didn't buy myself anything:( maybe later... I think I'll get 13 steps to mentalism too, I've wanted to for a while.

Couldn't really help myself. I really don't have anyone else to buy for and my birthday is coming up in 4 days as well. But it was all worth it.

Ordered myself a Tarantula and a few other things. Looking forward to trying them out when the box arrives, probably early next week.

A pair of brand spanking new bicycle decks, one red and one blue
Two boxes of Sculpey (got an idea for a chopped genii bottle and I want it to look like ancient clay)
Bag of balloons (to freeze water in as a removable form for above bottle)

oh, yeah...
One old magical manuscript (forgotten the details because my wife confiscated it immediately so she could “give” it to me Christmas morning)

…and maybe the Stone Frixion Fire E-Book; don’t know, Christmas isn’t over yet! Smile

I got a bunch of books:

Encycolpedia of Card Tricks
Card Control: Practical Methods and Forty Original Card Experiments
Card Manipulations
Ellis Stanyon's Best Card Tricks
Hugard's Magic Manual

-Vinny

But my wife bought me a dozen old box bicycle decks, a deck of squeezers, a deck of mohawks, 3 decks of steamboats, 2 decks of guardians, 2 decks of Hoyle shellbacks and Dan and Dave's Trilogy...What a gal!! And to top it all off, my mother sent me 4 decks of Tally-hos, a 125th anniversary bicycle deck, an unopened unused sealed deck of Wynn Bees, a deck of Aladdins, a deck of Gemaco unopened unused sealed Aladdin Casino cards and a deck of cards that belonged to my Grandfather (a deck of Modianos from Sicily that are about 45 years old!) They are feeding my habit!! hahaha

Greater Magic book 1938ed in near perfect shape.

Been looking for this book for a long time, but they were always either too crappy condition or way too expensive.

I stumbled upon a lucky ebay listing and was able to snag it for a deal.

Nothing.*

*See the recent "too much magic" thread. Now maybe I'll have a few extra moments to spend time with the stuff I already have!
