Last month on Dec 19th and 20th I had the pleasure of working with Dan Harlan doing a Christmas Magic Show along with comedian Jen Weston. It was a great time and working with Dan and Jen was a blast. I must admit I am so psyched to be working with Dan Harlan and Floyd Collins on this DVD. We are in the duplication process now and will definitely have these ready in the next few weeks. One of the first set of magic videos that I purchased were Dan Harlan's impromptu magic videos. I have been a fan ever since.

I hadn't seen Dan's "Hold it Buster" routine before but I really liked it! I can see why so many rave about this routine!

I also enjoyed Floyd's gypsy thread routine. From what I understand a lot of the credit for this goes to Sam Sandler who has a dvd coming out on this. I really look forward to Sam's work on this.

Thanks for the reply, yes Dan's Hold it buster is a great routine. Also as Robert noted there will be other new effects on this new DVD plus an interview with Dan that is very helpful for any performer.

Thanks for the comment on the Gypsy Thread, and yes Sam Sandler mentored me on how to do it perfect each and every time. Prier I would be very worried about performing it because it sometimes would tangle. After learning the prep from Sam I have done this many many times and it never fails.

I know I've been saying it's going to be released soon, and the truth is- it really is this time. We're tidying up the customization portion of it now, and it will be released right after Dan Harlan's routine and a new routine Floyd and I are working on.

Could Dan have picked a worse person than that poor woman for the rope trick? Cringeworthy.

Hehehehe. Unfortunately, that comes with the territory of being a magician. We have all picked some 'not-so-good' volunteers. Dan performed in front of all magicians too. Not that that's a bad thing, but the reactions aren't as good normally.

This DVD has tons of great stuff though. Did you see the Cheez Whiz one? I love that the most!! Freakin' hilarious!
