A big hi to all the Magic Café members. Name here is Kyle and I am from the Philadelphia, PA area. I thought I would first introduce myself here to the members and hope that you all can learn a bit more about me and what I do. I look forward to reading the boards as well as posting some of my own information that I hope will be of help to others as well.
I am 33yrs old and a graphic designer and illustrator by trade. Yes, that means I design all my own logos, posters etc. as well as design them for other small businesses as well as entertainers. I enjoy it and it keeps me busy. I am also a part time professional magician specialising in stage magic and manipulative magic. My shows have me performing most weekends by focusing on family style magic for kids parties, banquests as well as my newest recent tour of Fairs and carnivals with my small style illusion show. My wife is not only my partner in life, but she is also my partner in magic. We love performing together and it is something that we can both do and share in our lives. I am also the co-leader of the Philadelphia Society of Young Magicians. We are located in the Philadelphia suburbs and have about 35 young members ages 7-17. I have been teaching for about 10 years and would not trade it in for the world. These kids are great and their minds and hearst are in the right place. They make real magic happen... they make me smile. Well, I hope to read many of your posts and hope that I might be able to post some articles and information myself. Since I specialize in art and design as well as illusions and stage magic, look for my posts on those topics in the near future. Thanks again and hope to hear from many of you.

Dereck and Den. Thanks so much for the kind words. It should be fun to check out. I had been here before but I totally forgot my user name etc. I figured it just as easy to start fresh again.
I have already posted a few articles regarding promotion for magicians and hope that it may help others. I look forward to reading your posts. Thanks again.

Tommy: Thanks for your kind words and warm welcome. It is wonderful to hear that you are also in the Philadelphia burbs. We may have to get together at some point down the road.
It is also interesting that you said you have a 12 year old son intersted in magic. I also am the co-leader of the Philadelphia Society of Young Magicians. An organization that teaches kids the ages of 7-17 the art of magic. If your son might be interested, please just PM me and I can get you that information. Ozlen: Thank you also for your welcome. I greatly appreciate it. Also many thanks on my so-called magic resume. I guess I have just been a round a while and have gotten the chance to perform and do some wonderful things. Magic has been very good to me and I only wish to give back to it what I have received from it myself. That is great that you are an Industrial Designer. We do indeed have a lot on common. I may have to check out your article and read it when I get a chance to. Hope to hear from both of you and look forweard to seeing more of your posts.

Greetings from Downingtown...hope you made it to Bob Little's Super Sunday yesterday. I think you'll find, as have many of the others who are here, that the Café is a tremendous resource. It's also a lot of fun. Looking forward to your posts.

Steve:
Thanks for the kind words. I did indeed attend Bob Little's and I have been to his conventions for years. Infact, if you were there, the two young kids in the show were students of mine from my SYM club in Warminster, pA. They really have come a long way and they made me proud last night. I have already posted quite a few articles in the tricky business section regarding logos and promotion for the magician. I am a graphic designer and illustrator as well as a magician. I figured this would be an ideal spot for me to be able to share my advice and to post helpful hints for others. Please check them out when you get a chance and let me know what you think about them. Downingtown is not far from me at all as my folks also live out your way. You will have to fill me in more on your style of magic and what you do. I would be happy to hear more about it. You are correct. The Café is a wonderful resource indeed.
