Mills - I've noticed this too with Costco. I'm happy with the feel of the decks (besides when it's cold, apparently), but have noticed the cut isn't quite right on more than one pack - as in, the white border is thicker at one end than the other - to the point where I could use them as a marked deck! Seems unusual for bicycles to be doing this, no? Keen on hearing others' views also.
There does seem to be universal agreement that the cold is causing the snapping. My house has been particularly cold recently. Haven't noticed the clicking for a few days now. When I next do, I will try the freezer method - what's one deck in the name of experimentation?!.. |
