A seance show can become a part of local history if you work it. Any similar stories out there?
SCRANTON TIMES Best bets: Places to go and things to do in Northeastern Pennsylvania Published: January 5, 2010 THURSDAY Local history: "Haunted! Mind Mysteries & The Beyond," 7 p.m., Houdini Museum, 1433 N. Main Ave. http://thetimes-tribune.com/arts-living/......1.525307 Through our promotion and the success of the show and its story, after five years, we have become part of the local folklore. Additionally, for the same reasons, The Pennsylvania Department of Tourism has included us in their list as one of the ten most haunted places in the State. Dick Brooks and Dorothy Dietrich.

Congratulations, Dick and Dorothy!
Because you asked -- SUPERNATURAL CHICAGO has done much the same thing. In its six years of performances, it has been listed among the Top 10 Haunted Locations in America by numerous periodicals around the country, including Newsday, the San Jose Mercury News, the Baltimore Sun, and the Denver Post: http://www.denverpost.com/travel/ci_10798555/ Members of TripAdvisor.com, the largest online travel community, even went so far as to name SUPERNATURAL CHICAGO one of the top attractions in Chicago, ahead of Wrigley Field and Lincoln Park Zoo (which is fairly ridiculous, but who am I to argue?): http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Re......ois.html Locally, SUPERNATURAL CHICAGO has been named a "Best Bet" by the Chicago Tribune, a "Critic's Pick" by Metromix, and a "City Pick" by Time Out Chicago, to which it also devoted a full page of color coverage: http://www.supernaturalchicago.com/timeout.html Friday, February 12th of 2010 will mark the beginning of Year Seven for the longest running theatrical magic performance in Chicago history. I hope you'll all come join us soon! Best, Neil
