Came across these today, and a million ideas popped into my head. Anyone else find these interesting? Possibly use these for an effect? The video is pretty fun to watch!

Yeah, my friend has something similar for his kids - a neodymium magnet construction kit. But I really thought that you meant, by "buckyballs", the tiny spheres of carbon or C60: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fullerene

The latter might have some use in the magic of the future, when the cutting edge of nanotechnological trickery first becomes feasible. Or their buckytube counterparts, at any rate: potentially the strongest IT yet!
