Weve talked about best and worst Tenyo's.
How about rarest and most expensive tricks. Want to share what's the most you have paid for a trick? What trick can't you find anywhere? Here are a few of the highest on ebay of late: (prices include shipping) Tenyo T-81, Space Walking Coin, Very Rare in Box!! $208.00 WOW! Tenyo Up Down Ball - RARE $164.00 Tenyo T-105, Tunnel of Darkness, New Original Package $155.00 Tenyo T-93, Card Changer, Rare Old Trick, Great! $110.00 Tenyo T-123, Billscape, Discontinued in Package $100.00 Tenyo ULTRA TUBE - mint condition (unopened) - rare $80.00 |

Up Down Ball is part of the blue box series which I suppose are professional or stage tricks, not part of the regular Tenyo retail line. I'd love to get a list of the tricks in that line.
Space Walking Coin really shocked me but the fact that it came in its original box probably helped. Card Changer is one of their best props ever. I think its worth the money (but I would of course |

Those are really high prices! I sold an Ultra Tube a few months ago for +/- 120 USD (without shipping) and a Billscape not long ago also for +/- 120 USD (also without shipping) (incl. shipping add 15 USD).
I did expect Space Walking Coin to sell for that much, but the price of that Tunnel of Darkness is absolutely crazy! I wasn't aware that trick was so rare/wanted. I had the opportunity to buy one for 40 USD a month ago but thought it would sell for less or the same on Ebay ... D'OH! I have never heard of the 'Blue Line' of Tenyo ... . Are these the tricks with a 'TC' in front of their number, like 'TC-02 The Die-abolical Box' ? |

I'd love to see that too, I was actually hoping you would demo it some day, Magic Patagonia
I have that trick but find it pretty hard to do and not very convincing. Space Walking Coin is basically two tricks in one: - you have a sort of 'coin disappearance stand' and - a special gimmick to produce coins in an easy way. With enough practice it's a good trick I think (you do have to watch the angles and like many tenyo tricks it makes some noise at exactly the 'wrong' time . I have performed it only a couple of times close-up when I just bought the trick and my friends didn't have any problem figuring it out, but then again, I wasn't performing it very good I suppose I.m.h.o it's a real collectors item, not a trick you pull out of your pocket to amaze some friends. |

Any one remember the Tenyo trick from the mid 70s where you vanish a quarter and it appears in a "nest" of plastic flying saucer like boxes then a small bag if you will? It came with the Hank too. I had that one and gave it to my nephew.

Yes, it is called 'Nest Of Boxes' I have the Tenyo version and a brass version; I prefer the brass version. I think it is from Viking magic and still for sale.

Hi Mark thanks for the site. I looked at the items but that is not the one I had. They have some really unique stuff thanks! The one I had ,had round plastic "plates" with a flat rim. There were 2 sizes plus a small bag.

The version I have is called Jiffy Coin Trick. It seems to be pretty similar to to the Tenyo version and looks like it is available online for around $5.00 or so.
