Incredibly powerful prediction effect that absolutely slays them. Either my own published version ('Confabulous Vacation' on the Desert Brainstorm Tapes or in my book, "Constructive Mentalism") or another version which is unpublished that I also do. Either one packs a punch that leaves them with their collective jaws a'scraping. Takes a fairly strong performer to do well. It comes off totally unconvincing otherwise. Technically it's not terribly difficult, although it does use a technique which scares the garbage out of most performers. Can't discuss the particulars here, but if you track down either my version or others like Ron Wilson's in his book, you'll see what I mean. Any other thoughts out there....? Mark

I agree Confabulation can be one of the strongest. When I used to use it I used the Reincarnation plot suggested by T.A. Waters.
Any method will do really, the plot is the thing. Paul Hallas |
