Very likely since the blurb gives Paul Brook credit for inspiration.

You are indeed correct, this was very heavily influenced by Paul Brooks excellent "You Know Who" card.

After buying this effect from Paul I loved the effect and played around with it to create something that suited me a little better. I must point out that this has not replaced Paul's effect in my wallet but sits proudly side by side for the times when a repeat performance may be required.

I was asked by a few that I'd shown it to if it was going to be released and so contacted Paul Brook who was very kind in giving his blessing on the condition I pay him one million dollars!

Best Wishes Michael

Well, I have "Between the Lines" and the great "Beyond ESP2" cards and love 'em both.

Michael Murray has a great track record so far, so count me interested!

I have Sleuth in my wallet and use it after every gig. Standing at the bar waiting for someone to buy me a drink (I'm usually waiting a while Smile) we all get inundated with questions about how we started, 'can anyone do this' and the likes.

I find Sleuth fits in at this moment and other 'impromptu' moments like it, perfectly.

Imagine carrying a little card around with you and being able to fully demonstrate your powers as a mentalist.

Michael did a great job with this. Not only is the card great to look at, the thinking and presentation offered is first class too.

FINALLY: If you get it and don't see the value, it's a reasonably priced way to fix that wobbly table that annoys you so much. Don't be disappointed once you have performed this and that table still wobbles though.

This thing is simple, straight to the point mentalism.

Enjoy it.

I just got this and Michael, you have done it again! This is brilliant. A one in five selection, and it is just so clever and well designed. I love it, and I am going to do this everywhere. I'm also going to make my own using some of my own presentational ideas. The concept is amazingly well implemented. Excellent!

Thanks for the kind words! Initial response has been very positive!

Ken, you forgot to mention that it also may be used as an ice scraper for your car windows!

No sleights, completely self working, %100. Even if its not something you'll use, the idea is a brilliant starting off point for your own creativity!

I can certainly attest to the strength of Michael's new creation, it has gained permanent residence in my wallet.

In my honest opinion, Sleuth is a fantastic way to introduce the concept of influence, perception without awareness, or as stated above, as a strong, impromptu and always ready way to answer, "so what do you do?"

Sleuth certainly garners a lot of interest when it is handed out, well-designed, it certainly looks the part, and unless you're jimmying locks with it, will definitely last a lifetime.

Sleuth is elementary yet powerful, a brilliantly deceptive piece.

For several years Between the Lines has been one of the main effects in my act - it is sooooooo good.

I have since bought Sleuth and am delighted. Not only is the card well made and produced but the effect so cleverly put together. It has very much impressed those who I have performed it on in a one to one situation but last night actually incorporated it in my show.

Before beginning I handed the card to the spectator to read and then, during my act and when talking about observation and perception, involved the spectator with the card and performed Sleuth. All were very intrigued - and it worked so well, intend to use the effect again in my act.

So whether in a close up situation or for a group, Sleuth has been very effective and is also something nicely different.
