Yeah, what they said.

18 in Sweden. But who cares, I don't drink even though I'm 18. =D

No one here.

According to De'vo, the majority of the participants are just people from Germany and the surrounding areas. Ciappi has also taken the "Trials". According to De'vo.

Is it odd that nobody ever knows anybody who has done the Ullmen Challenge and brought back photos to share with us all?

I wonder how many "local folk" and German citizens have card skills in excess of 99% of the rest of the world?

Are the Ullmen Challenges simply the latest chapter of "The Emperors New Clothes"?

Well. The photos question has been answered. Apparently the "Ulmen 4" do not allow any recording equipment whatsoever excpet when used by the Ulmen 4 themselves, and they probably wouldn't want to release their videos. xD

And I forgot to mention, WebGhost from the Handlordz forums apparently has taken the first trial as well.

I don't doubt the trials exist now, but not in the way he has described them. I doubt they have any history whatsoever. Probably started more recently.

I remember seeing photos a loong time ago f the apparent ulmen trials... it looked like a bunch of guys wearing the same t shirts standing around a bonfire... no sign of a castle or anything.... I used to also remember people posting here talking about the hidden german books that were written by people that no one has ever heard of...and apparently these books contained a majority of the moves credited to some of the more modern card manipulators..

Books such as "Dreams and Nightmares", "False Fantasies", and the manuscript "Ring Manipulation and Magic", etc probably fit the bill here. All by De'vo.

Then De'vo speaks of publications by other people he knows, and knew, or ansestors of people he knows. Such people as Yoseph, Marius Sr., Marius Jr., Heti, yada yada.

As for the pictures, the only released photos are only of the "Ulmen4" themselves holding torches around a fire, or just gathered in a circle holding torches, or standing in the windows of the Ruins, or standing on one of the walls with two moons apparently in the background, etc.

All can be found on the Superhandz.com website, I believe.

I do not personally believe most of this (Regarding the books, Ulmen4, etc), although I can believe in the possibility, proof has not been shown to back any of these claims up. But hey, if anyone has some evidence, I'm open to it!

I just don't buy all this talk about so called trials in germany
for one the only website in the world with any information about these so called trials is superhandz I refuse to beileve in this age of the information superhighway that something like this could be kept a secret . and even if it was real lets say for argument sake someone somewhere in card flourishing did the trials and then what would that person gain by keeping it secret what purpose would it serve to be the greatest in the world and only a handful of people would know because it so called underground that's dumb to invest so many hours of pratices and study so that maybe 10 people in the world know that ur quote extreme lol
I mean come on now are we too beileve that people would spend 10 to 12 hours a day practicing these card flourishes for what so 4 guys in germany can call you master I mean that's the dumbest thing I ever heard. DO U KNOW WHY PEOPLE WANT TO COMPETE IN FISM BECAUSE THEY GAIN A LOT BY WINNING AND THEN TELLING PEOPLE THEY WIN the more I think about it the more dumb it sounds to me . you wanna do card flourishes go for it be happy . you wanna beileve 4 guys wear black druid cloaks and hold up torches while you fiddle with playing cards doing ever more harder stunts then well that's really sad but hey that's my 2 cents
