I've posted a demonstration of the Two Card Turnover that fooled Charlie Miller---

Ron Bauer's T.T.T.

Hopefully I'll have more videos up soon!

Hmm... don't see how that could be. This TTT was written up by Charlie Miller in Magicana. Bauer has been doing it since the 50's I think?

You might be doing a few things similar but I'm sure it's not the same thing...

The move you continually refer to as "my double lift" is at least 30 years old, and is attributed to Steve Draun in Marlo Magazine (vol. 3, p. 250, 1979). It's called "Steve Draun's Packet Pushoff Lifts".

I believe a version of it can also be found in Kaufman's Secrets Draun From the Underground (1993)

the move in marlo mag your referring to is very different to "a polish push off" by alex elmsley and ttt because in draun's its for packets and you need to spread the cards also the thumb doesn't really push the double there. also I didn't say that its "my double lift"

I'm sorry, please accept my sincere apology. You did NOT make any claim to it being your double lift. Directly adjacent to your YouTube video was this link to another video, posted by a different guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cormm74W3Gk&feature=related He calls it his double lift. Screw-ups like that are the price one pays for posting when overly tired.

Again, I was wrong about who claimed what - please forgive me.

As for the Draun technique, you are correct that the method in the Packet Pushoff Lifts article [1979] is for small packets and is different, but I do believe the technique taught in Kaufman's Draun book is done from the top of a full deck, and is pretty much identical to what you're doing. In any event, the Draun technique is very effective, and mentioning it here gives the reader(s) another source for a similar (or identical) move, which I think was the purpose of your post as well.

There's a complete tutorial on my website-- you'd have to pay a one time membership fee, but if you look around the Café you can confirm that the material on the site is well worth the fee.

The small fee for the SEY sight is a BARGAIN for anyone intersted in card handling. The tutorials are fantastic and the teaching, clean, clear and so easy to follow. This is a must for beginners up to the pro's and all in between!

Nicely done Steve! Personally, I find it to be a lot more difficult to execute than it looks.

Thanks for the post.
