Who plans to go? Who is committing to compete? Some nice benefits for the first 100 registrants.
New location, earlier dates (late January), more to do, 80th edition promises to be one of the best yet. Local boy offers to provide info, arrange restaurant reservations, etc. for those interested...

I've met Rick Merrill and truly enjoyed his show and lecture (very skilled , very funny). "Home schooling" will never mean the same to me again.
Would love to meet Greg Frewin and the 'Ace', too. Cap'n Mike Myrtle Beach, SC ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

3 yrs ago I performed at the Magi-fest, and have been many times over the last 15 yrs. Always a top notch convention. I look forward to going next year.

We would not miss it for the world. I've worked with Rick at Blackpool, but I can watch him over and over, and still double over with laughter, truly one of the best. So far sounds like they are off to a super start, but I would expect no less. I am going to miss the staff at the Crowne Plaza though, we have gotten to know so many of them, kinda like family. They loved working Magi-Fest, beacause all the attendees treated them like family. That is just the kind of convention this is. But the new hotel looks grand, and will be great. I hear they are also using a nerby theater instead of Vets Memorial. All within walking distance. Buses are always tough to pull off, and always expensive. That will get great.

Good news, there are some really fine theaters nearby. If it snows like the last 2 years, however, we better bring shoe chains...

Craig Dickson is currently my FAVORITE magic dealer. Buy from him with confidence; he will take good care of you!
As far as the new hotel, I have it on good word that it is luxurious and well located. (my dad is in the hotel business). Register NOW people - I'm pretty sure Magi-fest 2011 is going to be off-the-charts good. |

Hi Guys !
Take it from me ( As if I would know....ha ha) The new hotel is OFF the hook perfect for a magic convention. The bar and lobby area are PERFECT for jammin into the wee hrs and the location of the ballroom, dealers and close up performance rooms is unprecidented ! ALL on the same floor and directly accross from one another. I've been known to have a lottle inside info on this convention and let me tell you, this year will ROCK you socks off. Can't wait till the end of January ! Steven

Steve,
I was wondering about the new hotel. I'm looking forward to Magi-Fest #80 and the talent is going to be great. Now if you can just prevent SNOW from appearing on Jan 27 - 30. Should we blame Kevin James for the snow? Joseph
