What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quotes change occasionally. Today this is mine...

"Good...bad...I'm the guy with the gun."

(Army of Darkness movie)
Live well,
Laugh often,
Love always.

To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world.

See sig. below for my favourite of the moment.

Here a few favorites:

Cowards and fools are always quick to use the word "tasteless" ~ Mel Brooks

I had a lovely evening. Unfortunately, this wasn't it. ~ Groucho Marx

Here's one that was I was inspired to leave by someones signature here at the Cafe:

Sure everyone always said 'Socrates, What is the meaning of life?' 'Socrates, How will I find happiness?' But did anyone ever say'Socrates, hemlock is poison. ~ Socrates shortly before his death

And here's one just for fun
It is a good thing for uneducated men to read books of quotations ~ Winston Churchill

Here are two of my favourites.

"Wherever you go - there you are" (Jon Kabat-Zinn)

"Madam, I could dance with you until the cows come home.....in fact, I'd rather dance with the cows until you come home" (Groucho Marx)

Cheers,
Stevie.

While this is hardly my favorite quote (or anybody's, for that matter!), it remains one of the most famous of the movie quotes:

"Badges? We don't need no steenkin' badges."

Now, for a virtual coffee and donut, who said it originally and what was the movie.

(It has been parodied several times, including in Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles)

"No good deed ever goes unpunished." I've been using that saying for 20+ years. Don't know if anyone famous ever said it though.

"Whether you believe you can or you believe you can't.... You're right!" Quote given to Napoleon Hill by Henry Ford

"Life is too short for the man who never goes out and lives every day to the fullest." Again another one of my sayings, but I'm sure someone else has probably said it more eloquently somewhere else.

I saw the following, it is written by one of my magical heros, and though it's not my absolute favorite quote, it helps to support and validate my attitude regarding some of the NEW breed of so-called magicians.

"I recently heard some kid complain (after buying the Dover, cheapo-version of Bobo's MODERN COIN MAGIC) that it was over-priced and of dubious value. He says: "Not that much new stuff in there...Lots of old-fashioned moves and obsolete routines..."

The wheel turns.
The mill grinds exceeedingly fine" - Jon Racherbaumer

Oh, yes, Steve, how painful that sort of thing can be!
First of all, it was not a video but a book, which probably confused him!
Second, some thought was required.
And third -- well, do we really NEED a third?

The only saving grace is that someday, we can hope, he'll see just what a jewel Bobo is. Maybe.
