Posting this for a friend, and I thought it was a good question too!
Anybody know if there is any type of Correspondence Courses offered for Magic? On-Line or Mail Order? Thanks! |

Not sure that there are any online courses. But for home study, you could always order the Tarbell course on CD from http://www.lybrary.com
It is just the course material that you have to work through yourself. It does not come with any of the materials - you have to buy them / make them yourself. James. |

Try http://www.ellusionist.com - there have been some good reviews on them.

Seems to me there have been such courses from time to time. I will do a search and see what I find. Meanwhile, I wholeheartedly agree that the Tarbell course is the way to go, and don't pass up the Mark Wilson Course in Magic, book or video form, it is a must have for new and highly experienced magicians as well. I'd also recommend Jaw Droppers by Larry Anderson, set of four excellent videos.
I found three using a search engine. I was able to copy and paste one for you below. I have no idea how good it is, but there are others. Try online magic courses, magic courses and stage magic courses on your favorite search engine and see what you find. http://www.magictricks.com/directory/lessons.htm

Yes I am sure there are good truck driving lessons too on the net...
Ask for a magician association at your local shop, many will help you for free !!!

You can go to http://learnmagic.com and click on magic academy, and buy 50 videos for $1000 dollars. And later you can become a doctor of magic.
I don't know whether this video club is good or bad, but there is a thread on it; do a search for International Magicians Society |

Go to The International Conservatory of Magic.
This is a pretty good site to learn magic, the theory and the terminology. Paul |
