Is there a way to differentiate the long threads sort of "games" from ones on folks that want to talk about theatrical aspects of comedy, comedy writing, physical bits etc....

This is something that has a lot of support from those that visit the 'Now that's funny!' forum on the Café.

How about a separete 'game thread' forum? There are many forums within the Café that get next to no postings. Perhaps one of those could give way to a forum for the game threads? The game threads attract many postings but in doing so clog up the 'Now that's funny!' forum for those that want to focus on things that appertain to comedy magic. After all wasn't that what this section of the Café was originally set up to cater for.

I agree. I don't even visit the "Now that's funny" forum anymore because there is no real discussion of comedy magic, just the jokes.

If you do start a new forum I suggest that the New one be devoted to working on and with comedy. The Old one is too polluted at this point.
