I bought a bunch of used magic from an estate sale a few years ago. among some of the items were 2 coins (Silver Dollar (Ike) on one side and a Silver Dollar sized U.S. penny on the other. the other coin is a silver dollar sized U.S. penny. Any idea what or who has a routine using these items??? They where packaged together with no instructions or routine. Any ideas???? Thanks RJ

Get another Ike and check out Mark Jenest's Short Hop on his "Miracles While U Wait" DVD. The routine is pretty much the same as "Hopping Halves", but doesn't require the whole set. Lots of other great magic on that DVD.

It might be for an effect by Doyne Michie called "Texas Penny" but I'm not sure.
I've never owned the effect so I'm not sure of the gimmicks used. But I know it involved a Dollar Coin and a Dollar Sized penny. Hope that helps. Metatron |

Sasco sells these .I think they just consider it a Dollar sized Copper/Silver Coin an Dollar sized Copper coin.
