Ed, the Billy's are easy as pie to assemble. I can get one up in 35 minutes, tops. The doors are very easy to align as well. You need to use a drill with a screwdriver bit, not a regular or even ratchet screwdriver. The drill is the key to easy and rapid assembly.

You really have misplaced ideas to see this kind of things...
I am always amazed to see people have such negative ideas and see things in a negative light. Why ? This is frustrating. It does not ask you for more energy to start from a postif observation rather than negative, and it is more pleasant for everyone. Nobody makes contest of who have the biggest here, You can remove it from the head immediately. The collection of Tenyo is a hobby, not a war, nor a way to enforce against others. Just enjoy. Nobody should have the idea to count how many times happens between two post. This is really weird. We're all just happy to share our passion with others. |

I can not imagine a new collector who is new here and who has just come on the Tenyo forum, can begin here by counting how many minutes have passed between two post for the sole purpose of saying accusations and look for problems where there has never had. It is simply incredible.
It's you John ? |

....and what about that cool looking telephone trick (supposedly called "Tenyophone"?) right under Enchanted Strings?
Judging from the second handset I guess it's sort of a vanishing/appearing trick? I imagine the patter to sound like so: "Please, hold the line!" "Hold it tight and firmly...." ".... tadaaa: now it's gone!" :magicrabbit:

S,
The Card Changer is not Tenyo, and no it doesn't work very well, and is gimmicked differently than Tenyo's. The red Glass Board is one of the first things I ever owned. The only marking on it is Patent 2117800, which I couldn't find on line. The clear plastic pane is somewhat loose, as I have found with all of these types of Glass Boards. PS- have added a lot more tricks to the wall since these pictures. |

With all that distraction, how can you possibly get any work done at that desk?

Indeed, I have been planning to update my website but didn't have the time and ... yet (some of you people know what I'm talking about) Pictures will be on the website soon however And as said before Edshern's idea is great
And indeed Angelo, I also had a display cabinet with glass doors but after a few weeks there was dust all over the place/tricks ... . If I (and I will) buy another one it will have to be hermetically sealed |

I also use sheet metal cut to size, or just thin nails (also painted) to hang stuff from. Also some wood that I put slot in & painted black to hold things like the Pyramid. (Gotta fix the truck that backed up though) |

Gorgeous collection Ed... I like the way you went about displaying it. You have literal arm length access to anything in your collection! No fiddling, just set and go!

Not an office. It's my basement playroom, although I have been known to work from home
there when necessary. I Also keep a 100 gallon Cichlid Fish tank (also have a 100 gallon reef tank), my PS3 & 60" TV, my art stuff, fridge with beer, poker/bridge table, & currently unused exercise equipment. Yes, add bathroom and I would never leave. |
