I did a search on the 3cf but couldn't find anything. My question is are there any routines yet for this gaff set. I have ordered mine from his 3rd run so I should get it fairly soon and I have some ideas of what I might try and use it with...but if there is anyone out there that has some ideas to share that would really help me get more creative juice going. I have been more into the cards but for the past year or so I've been using some coins (so I need a lot more work). I've watched David Roth, Sankey, Stone, Rubinstien, Hooser, and Kenner. I've read Bobo, Kaufman, and Kurtz books dealing with coins. All are great and I need to see and read more (I prefer to watch for me it is easier to get the "move" down)but if there are any ideas kicking around please share. Thank you very much Sean.

Check out eric Jones' An extension of me for starters. You can also look at Troy Hooser's destruction or his set of notes from Lassen.

You should look into Justin Miller Triune, fantastic routine using 3CF.

Starromeo, Thanks for the title of what looks like a good DVD but I guess you get gaff coins with it which I have already ordered that is why its so expensive and I couldn't find just the DVD...I will ahve to wait on that one but thanks you gave me another title to add to my want list.

Starromeo,
Justin Millers Triune does not utilize a 3CF, though with modification it can use it. Justins routine, which Justin no longer carries, uses a gravity flipper coin and shell combination. For those interested in 3CF, this gimmick allows all the advantages of a gravity flipper coin and shell comboAND the advantages to a 3CM/Triple Threat gimmick. It is a phenomenal piece of machinery.

There was attention brought to this elsewhere. The question was, is the 3CF the same gaff that Lassen made for JJ Sanvert's Flying Dollar routine on DVD many years ago?
Wouldn't surprise me. |

The Justin Miller Triune looked like it was discontinued a while back and then started again. My problem is I have the gaff on the way I don't need another and I think that is the reason the DVDset is more then I would like to pay. I will check out ebay and see if anyone is selling just the DVD copy you never know I might get luck....Sean.

Eric,
Is the flipper on the 3CF a gravity flipper? Will it withstand a coin flip from hand to hand just as my 3CM without opening/making noise etc.? Finally, is the whole gimmick a lot thicker than the 3CM? My 3CM is remarkable and has 100% coverage, but the insert coin is quite thin. Never a problem for my stand up work, but I wouldn't use it on a pad... Thanks, Christian |

Nevermind Eric, I read your post again and you pretty much said it all. Thanks.
Still curious about the thickness of the gaff though. |

Just ordered mine today! Can't wait to get it! I know there are gonna be hundreds of possibilities. Just wondering what I can come up with. Eric, you can probably expect a lot of txt and calls from me once I get my 3CF lol.
One for the money...., 2 for a pass..., 3 for a Fly..., and 4 for matrix!

Nice concept for the gaff although not original as many of you have already wrote. However, the more toys out there the better. :o)
So, are there any routines documented on youtube that take advantage of this piece of work? It is a great idea to have a "1 tool for all occasions" gaff, but only if it provides an advantage to an effect in a routine which can only be provided by using this "1 tool for all occasions." Since many of us coin workers already have all the separate gaffs to begin with, it would not be a risk to purchase such a combo gaff. However, if you are a person who does not have all the separate gaffs (and you buy this combo gaff), you better not drop it! All your eggs are in one basket. :o) and to the comment earlier, Troy Hooser notes are on TT and not this new gaff. Destroyer is on combining the "fl..r" and the "exp s..l"

Rather than get into the whole Schoolcraft/Lassen debate, I'll simply state some obvious facts about 3CF so the consumer can make and INFORMED decision without any politics or propaganda. Here are key points to remember about 3CF: -EVERY routine possible with Triple Threat/3CM can be done with 3CF. -EVERY routine possible w/ a flipper coin and shell combination is possible with 3CF. -The cost for a dollar sized 3CM/Triple Threat is around $300 bucks. The cost of a Dollar sized Gravity Flipper coin and shell set is about $300. 3CF costs 5 bills and effectively does what both sets do combined. At the end of the day, if you don't see any reason for the gaff, then as with anyting else, there's no need for you to invest $500 in this gaff. However, if you see the advantages in using this gaff as I have, I encourage you to give this a try. It has all the advantages of each individual set, and tons of undiscovered possibilities.

Eric, I think the general price for 3CM or Triple Threat in Dollar size is $400, not $300, which makes 3CF an even better value if one has a need for it.

I have had the 3CF a couple of days now and I have got to say I love it!
Three perfectly matched Morgans appearing as a single coin. Easy to perform coin roll with and flick into the air as one coin - also great for coins across amongst other routines. The gravity flI**er is perfect with a very thin line barely visible. |
