Every time I turn on the TV some wise-cracking comedian is cracking a joke about S&R being gay or splitting up , etc. Is this all a rumour? Are they splitting up? Is this the last year their show will run in Vegas. If they go their separate ways, who gets the pick of the litter? They do a class act in Vegas. Do people just raze them out of jealousy? Who's got the latest?

Not heard the gags, but perhaps the US comedians and press are starting to do what the British press are good at, building people up, then tearing them down. After MANY years of success in the UK, Paul Daniels was attacked in this way and sadly is never now mentioned by young reporters except perhaps alongside a snide remark (these are people who never saw him perform live).
At the end of the day, it could quite easily be a last year for the double act, they must be around retirement age and have to quit some time. Paul Hallas |

Lets see 2 gay magicians in thier 60's who have lifetime contracts and have split up. One is hanging around with a another magician whose 29 and the other wants to do his own show at a seperate casino. No comedy stuff here. Everyone at that level,David Blaine,Copperfield,Lance Burton,Mac King, Melinda, Etc. gets blasted, but you know what?
Any press is good press. They must be very upset as they continue to make 3-5 million a year. |

It should be noted that while Siegfried and Roy work (and even live, though it's a huge estate) together, they have not been a "couple" for many years.

Personally, I don't think being gay is anything to be made fun of; such ridicule is politically incorrect, and besides, it's usually not their fault. Statistically speaking, it's estimated that approximately 62% of all gays are born that way.
