This video demonstrates why "less is more."
While the initial set-up was intriguing, once the messages started appearing on the screen, my suspension of disbelief evaporated. It would have been far more effective if the "experimenters" placed their hands on the Ouija board, and the "answers" had come just as simple "pulses," say a flash of solid white screen in the traditional "1 for yes, 2 for no" format. And sadly, the hokey SFX at the end totally destroyed any remaining shreds of belief. On the other hand, I predict that someone will eventually release a Ouija app for the iPad in the future...

No Luck even when I took the commas out of the link and added an l at the end.
This video is very clever and I can see how it could be evolved into a full presentation with some restructuring. I have always been fascinated by EVP's and judging from all of the current programs on Cable and Network television the public seems primed for this kind of presentation. I really try to stay away from any kind of technology in my presentations and appear very low tech on purpose, Heck I have even resisted getting a cell phone so far. I am still resorting to my Dr. X I got years ago for my spirit whispers. Funny Story: A sitter during one Seance had written "Is my Pappy OK"... My Guide informed her that her PUPPY was doing just fine and was enjoying it's stay in doggie heaven with all the other animal companions. I really could not understand her very confused reaction and the nervous jitters from her friends until after the show was over. My crew and I went out afterward and we could not stop busting a gut just thinking about how stupid the whole thing sounded. k

It could be a good idea, but HAS to be more believable.
Foil around the TV? Both antenna leads hooked to the foil? Lame! How about... No foil. One lead goes to the center port of the antenna IN on the TV. The other lead is grounded. You need to separate the ouija board and the antenna with a piece of wax paper to act as a capacitor shield. A real ouija board and not that .crap. he had. And of course better graphics. etc..etc.. Something a little more technical and thus more believable. Then... it could be good. Randi |
