I have used mine twice in a working environment, and have gotten great response. I will be picking up a few more, perhaps the variety bulk-pack, as it gives me a great impromptu magical effect.

Has anyone been able to find anything on Dave Devin's "Big 1". I can't find even a reference anywhere. Dave, can you give any info on this, and a head's up when the 'Stretch a Bucks' multi-denominations become available.

I am not familiar with this version, but would like a source for it.
Fulves' Self Working Paper Magic has a way to prepare a regular dollar to truly stretch. I also bought a specially prepared bill (w/a very elaborate set of cuts) that also stretches. Yet, as already noted, these items need to be handled with great care - the tyvex approach seems a good way to go. John

I think if they would correct the problem, they might find me more of a willing customer.

Its not that the paper itself is stretching, but with the cuts, you could say that the holes are growing in size. Its analogous to a "betcha" where you can cut a postcard size of paper so that you can walk through it, the paper itself doesn't stretch, but it is reoriented/rearranged in a way that makes it seem like that. In any event, with the method I mentioned, the spectator could see (if close enough) the holes and that the bill was cut. John

Understood. So pretty much this method is probably only suited for stage.

I like most that have posted about the stretch a bill can't hardly wait for the "Pro Pack" to come out. To be able to switch out 5 different denominations that everybody uses is exciting. I have the stretch a bill and like others that have posted am amazed at the reaction I receive when I do this. All the hours of practice doing other effects and they want me to keep stretching my money.
I now pause and wait after I stretch the bill to have a lot of fun before going to the next performance. Love doing this effect for waiters and waitresses. They always bring out their co workers to have me show them. Gets a lot of attention from other tables at this point. Hurry with the Pro Pack Dave. LOL |

Your experience parallels mine! It kind of overshadows my other effects. They don't care about my cards they just want me to stretch my bucks!
I too, am waiting for this this new expanded pack be released! It will really open up new world's of possibility! C'mon, Dave!

Yes, if they got rid of the name, I would be buying a ton of these bills! Tons!!!

Actually, because they are so durable (Tyvek) You only really need one of each denomination and you can use that over and over again.
