This is a pic of my new Filbert Pump. I a tall (6'4") so I mounted the pump base on top of an upside down "Homer Bucket" from Home Depot. Then I bought a bucket skirt (also from HD) and mounted it on the outside of the bucket with the top half flipped up so that it provides a skirt of sort to hold the plastic tubes (also from HD) with small rounds, geos etc in them) Next I bought two sets of Conwin Tank Caddies (there are usually three baskets in a set) and wove them into one set of six and mounted them to the top. I really love it, feel free to run with any of these ideas...

Thanks, I really like the set up and it is working very well. Here is a pic of the tubes I and how the top of the bucket accessory holds them in place.

Looks very cool! How many colors of balloons do you hold doesn't appear to have enough pockets.

Thanks Mota!

Kevin, well it has lots of compartments and pockets for my needs anyway. I don't currently use them all but close. I keep about four colors in each of the Conwin Tank Caddy Bags (the fishnet like bags) and then misc balloons in the clear-view tubes and the pockets around the bucket.

Great set up. I need to do something like that, I'm sure it cuts down of your load time.

My daughter started loading mine she gets a dollar a bag rubberband and put in my pouch. She gest excited when the box of balloons shows up from http://www.balloonmerchant.com (since she gets paid)

I wish Qualatex or Betallatex would just have all the balloons faced one way. I heard its being done at a company in Asia so why they can't who knows..

Here are some links to some of the things I used to make this. I could not find a link to the exact Husky Bucket Caddy that I bought at Home Depot but I found another one (and it has more pockets Kevin : ) You will also need a "Homer Bucket" or similar size/style of bucket from Home Depot.

Just talked to Peter at 11:00 a.m. (CST) today, June 1. His site is down. The California people who maintain it aren't in the office yet.

He's still in business and doing well!

I have FOUR of his pumps and I wouldn't sell them for less than $500 each if I couldn't replace them with other Filberts. And I am not kidding. These are incredible! The first one I got has done tens of thousands of balloons, literally. The ONLY maintainance I've done on it was rubbing a LITTLE bit of silicon on the main tube, ONE time. I jammed a piece of balloon in it somehow and Peter's said send it to him and he'd fix it. Gotta love that kind of service!

I just bought a Filbert from a friend who had Peter install a 160 pump on it too! The nozzle on the regular Filbert is just too big for my taste for 160's. I don't think there are many, if any, others out there like that. I'm not sure as my friend didn't know. It's pretty cool though!

And -- I've developed something for the Filbert (after a lot of trial and error on my part) that I feel sure all Filbert owners will be interested in having. Details soon!

Best Wishes
carl

I wish his site would get back up and running. My old Filbert, after blowing up about two million balloons has about seen its better days. It is about time to order another one. I'd like to see how they look with the new colored tubes before I order.

Anyone know why the Filbert Pump website is down? I never got my pump from them and it's due now.

Their website is http://www.filbertpump.com

I always seem to invest in the companies that go out of business when they are making my product.

Update- I found Filbert the clown's contact info and I spoke with Filbert. He was a very nice guy and said he's not out of business. His website crashed on his server for the past week and my pump will be shipping on Monday. I'll keep you all posted. If you need to contact Filbert, here is his contact info

Call him at 518-765-4585, or e-mail us at filbertpump@earthlink.net
