Thanks again- will listen to it today and looking forward to it!

I heard a bunch of Abbott's guys talking about Karrell Fox- much of the stuff he did on the Saturday night show during the GetToGether was made up/quickly improvised sometimes that same day. Karrell would go to the local department store and get what props he needed and wing it from there. Karrell's Abbott and Costello like routines (Karrell in the Bud role) with Duke Stern and later Abb Dickson (in the Bud role) were about the funniest stuff I have ever seen- often spoofing what had been done earlier in the week during the convention.

Quite a few magicians such as Karrell back in the day would get a steady stream of business working car shows- that seemes to be much more rare now. You just walk up and look at the cars now at the Detroit Auto Show without the magical "barker" there anymore to entice you to the display. My wife today is at the enormous U.S. beauty trade show (hundreds of dealers)at McCormack Place in Chicago, I told her to look out for any magicians... Maybe there could be some Gospel magicians employed at the Christian Booksellers Convention- now that would be cool.

Well...it seems sound issues made it very difficult to hear our newest contributor, Alicat (a.k.a. Alex Bremner) so I have replaced the poor recording with another where you can understand her. So for those who subscribe...that is why you got it twice. Also, you will see the episode name is now changed.

This was the second change of the day (very long day working at my computer with this) and the second one...apparently had 49 minutes of no sound.

My sincerest apologies to anyone who had been flooded with downloads. Hopefully all is well in iTunes now.

Just when I thought I had it all figured out. I sat down with my Mark Wilson book and got all mixed up.

Great as always!!
