Has anyone any opinions on the Alpha to Omega effect by Stephen Tucker? I am not a great card man and would like to know how it compares to John Bannon's Twisted Sisters?

I have Omega,
it's a pretty good effect. Big advantage is: you end clean and there is no equivogue. There's an old and a new demo of Omega. I prefer the old one as more real, I think they made a cut in the newer one. Search here for more info, there's is a lot to find about Omega. Frans |

Thanks for that Frans, I have ordered the effect so it will be the new version not the old.

The effect is the same. but in the new version of the demo there is a cut that masks something essential. |

But both are the same, that you have to hide your hands behind your back for a while?
I'd love to buy this effect but when I saw he had to do something on his back, it just killed my mood. Is it possible not to do that move?

As I have not yet received the effect yet, I cannot comment. When I get it I will let you know, unless there are further posts on this site before then.

The move must be done. Behind your back, under the table. It enhances the effect for the first revelation. (Which is of course not really a revelation, but a build-up to the real one) |

Thanks fvdbeek, I do not quite understand what you are saying but I am sure it will become very clear when the package arrives.

As I said in the other post. I do not think it is a big problem to putting the cards behind the back. As the climax is the pack already on the table.

My answer to 'Failed's' question is that the move has to be done hidden but the way Stephen performs it on his video, does not seem to have a detrimental aspect to the trick. It is just one of those things that some magicians will hate it and others can't see a problem. I can't see a problem and it just give one revelation after the other.

All the tricks in Mega 'Wave (Bannon's new book) are based on Stephen Tucker's Alpha to Omega. I suggest you check it out when it is back in print . All the effects remove the need to put the cards behind your back. Still like the original method though, and would recommend you pick up the DVD from the Big Blind Media guys.

I personaly like Alpha to omega better then twisted sister. Another trick on this DVD that's really good is Exhibit A.

Well, if someone has it up for sale, I might grab this. I'm starting to love bringing packet tricks. It's suitable for almost every occasion.

I agree with you Motown about Exhibit 'A', I like this trick as well. I am trying to think of another murder weapon for 'F' in place of the matches. Does anyone have any ideas?
