Vernon's Impromptu Cups and Balls from Stars of Magic is a non-nesting, non-stacking routine.

That's true, and you can also find it in the little green book that Fun, Inc. has issued called Cups and Balls -- a Treatise on the World's Oldest Deception by my friend Gabe Fajuri. This is an excellent little book, and I recommend it very highly.

Gabe has published this routine with the express consent of the Vernon estate.

I'll have to get a set of the "issued" version after the first of the year. I have SO much to do with all of the new old stuff that has come in.

I'll start adding the Goulet cups to the database and the site tomorrow.

Just want to give you guys a heads up that these cups are completed and now shipping. They came out terrific, the Bonus DVD is hilarious and instructional (the routine is fast and jumps directly to the final loads just as quick as you want it to.), and I ended up using some black satin swatches between the cups to protect them while they are stacked in the bag.
All around nice kit with Green Money 1" balls included.

I'd also like to thank everyone for their thoughts, input and interest on this project, and I'd especially like to thank Jamie for his input on the cup design and for being so clear in defining what his needs were!
Thanks Jamie!

When I was "between engagements" I worked in a restaurant. One of the secrets I learned was that if you have a whole lot of drinking glasses to carry from a table to the dishwasher, put a straw between the glasses as you stack them. Then they wont stick together.

With these, I would suggest using a strip of felt. Naturally, the satin is good, too.

Auke puts pieces of soft fabric between the cups.

Felt! Great idea and I have SEVERAL yards of it in vivid pool table green that will compliment the copper nicely. It's not speed cloth, but it's good high quality felt.

The great Bil Palmer just posted a review up over here:

http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......um=109&2

and all points are excellent! I'm actually rerendering the DVD so I can take out the music, no problem! A dvd was decided on as an extra to Donnie's awesome customers so don't expect a Theory 11 quality type viewing, lol.

Thanks Bill! It's an honor to know that you purchased a set!

Jamie:

It's a good set of cups. You and Donnie did a fine job on them.

I'm glad to hear that you are re-rendering the DVD.

I was just reviewing my product line and thought how proud I am to have my name associated with these! Hurrah!

And I'm not sure why the youtube link is broken (above) but here it is again! Fun!

Hiya Jamie!
Your JDG cups should be available in Antique Bronze any day now... it's been about 8 weeks since they were shipped off for bronzing. It's sick how long it takes.

Jamie, Donnie,

Congratulations on your new products. I hope you sell a bejillion of them. The cups look wonderful. I just sold off all the cups I have, save the one set I use. It was liberating and some guys at the club got some good prices.

It's grand you took your idea and brought it so fully to frutition.

Congratulations again,

Kent

Retail Therapy in reverse?

Kent, how many Cup sets did you sell?

Just curious...

Panlives,

Sets did I sell?

Je ne comprends rien?

What are you talking about?

I'm not connected to Jamie's product other than as a fan. I've never sold, authorized, assisted or even been involved in marketing a set of cups.

You wrote that you sold off all the cups you had...(save one).

Pan,

I was in the midst of an edit, I swear.

I gotcha.

Sold one set of Mendozas and one set of Chopped Johnsons. No hate for either set. I really like the Mendoza cups. I could do my routine with either set, just didn't feel right. Also gave away several sets of lower end and found cups I'd been keeping around for no reason.

I still have two sets. They're both made by Mr. Sherwood.

I got rid of one other set a while ago. I sent them and the balls to Bill Palmer. I figured that was better than turning them into ashtrays with a sledgehammer.

Sorry . . . PL
