Much as I love magic, I gotta say, most kids aren't browsing Youtube looking for magic videos. If you want to approach random kids in a school, my guess is they will have never seen these crazy new cards unless they too are into magic. If you're showing stuff to your magic buddies, that's one thing, but people on the street, in a school, wherever - aren't going to recognize these. They will recognize the familiar Bicycle cards because that (or something similar) is what will be lying around the house. You're right - the world is smaller in a lot of ways because of the Internet, but just because it's online and available doesn't mean everyone is watching it. I can't believe I fool ANYONE with my Chop cup routine - until I remember that I've probably seen about a thousand Chop cup performances. I've studied and read about it for years and I know how it works, whereas my spectators may have never even seen a magician perform, let alone do the Chop cup. What is obvious to some is not obvious to all. Please, I beg of you - find the punctuation keys on your keyboard and use them. It's very difficult to read and understand a post when it's just a mass of words strung together. Periods are a good thing - they won't bite.
