They should just learn to take the lift.

I watched a show on Discovery channel where two dudes went to different countries to learn different martial arts. They learned Silat in Malaysia. Was very fast.
Kind of makes me think of a cross between Kali and Tai Chi.

Saw that as well... Not bad...
Historically it has been theorized that Kali originated from Silat... A lot about this on the Net if you want to check it out. I can see how it looks like Tai Chi...

I will look more into that. I love all martial arts and Kali is one of my favorites. I would also love to learn Krabi Krabong if it was taught here, but unfortunately it isn't.
I don't know much about Silat but it looks cool from what I've seen. Some of the movements were reminiscent of Tai Chi splashing hands is what I meant. And the shorter and sharper movements reminded me of Kali. I will look at it more because it interests me quite a bit.

That's a loooong way down.
Great Stuff. Very Gutsy.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

Critter, do check it out. Do remember that Silat is more weapon based originally..
Don't join any Silat that asks you to jump off of any 2 storey building though..
