What is the problem with a hip wallet. I'm sure if it wasn't quality, Pwrer would not sell it.

As I have said previously this is the cleanest and best equiv.... I have ever seen
After the first question whatever their answer you continue through to conclusion with the identical patter I agree with Martin the wallet supplied is the absolute right size I cannot understand all the arguments about why in an envelope and the cards could be better and they can't look at the wallet You state right from the start I have a wallet which has an envelope in which their is one card I have never had anyone ask or try to take the card you show the envelope empty as you remove the card If someone goes for the wallet then your audience management needs working on Would you let someone handle your JOL or Himber or whatever other magic wallets you perform with I don't think so ! This is as good as it gets one of my better buys in the past 2 years of which there has been many |

The current Alakazam release is a not a "new release" as "release of a new effect", but a re-release, an old effect (not available anymore?) released in a different way (packaging, wallet options, DVD, etc.).
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death my right to say "scr*w you" if you persist. [Voltaire ]

And I also have never had anyone ask to inspect the wallet. Ever. I performed this a number of times at a mix and mingle last Sunday and it always got a tremendous response. It is a great effect, especially when you need a solid, no fuss hit at any point in your repertoire. Best, Atlas |

Just to agree with everyone else---never had someone ask to see my wallet. And if someone, someday does---my response will be "I don't even let my wife go through my wallet"

I do not own this. But I have Future Zone. I am actually selling it...
I have had too many people asking to see the card. I can easily defend people wanting to see my wallet. But the card... I obviously still don't let them. I basically just ignore their question and move on. Anyone else have this issue? |

Just did a four hour gig for the Royal Mail here in the UK. I gave 'On The Mark' a serious run. I performed OTM at least 20 times today. Not one person ever asked to see the wallet. The overall reaction to the effect - mind-blowing!! LOVE IT

Typical, the minute the Royal Mail is privatised they start splashing out on parties with magicians. Lol

I definitely agree -- a terrific and entertaining and amazing effect!
In fact, I have an extra one, jacket wallet style - let me know if you are interested. Nathan Quote:

How do you compare this with the Lynx Wallet ?

With Lynx you can choose every card without needing a selection process if you know what I mean.
It's a good selection process but it's still a process. |

I think the process is worth it, given the ease with which you can remove the card. And while I agree it is a process, it is smooth and consistent.

I own the new Lynx wallet and 'On the Mark' by Mark Elsdon (the larger version). Both are excellent but for me they are two different effects if that makes sense. The OTM routine feels more like you're trying to psychologically influence the participant to choose a particular playing card. Whereas the Lynx presentation that I've been working on is more of a prediction. Now obviously both wallets can be given the same presentational treatment but that's how I'm planning to use them. Of course, I wouldn't use both wallets in the same program.
