Great present! Got any Aronson? Everybody's Lazy and Four-Part Harmony are fantastic memdeck effects.

Where does one find the latter?

I have performed Zen Master over 100 times and its my favorite memdeck effect.
So, if you want to do some superstrong, learn Zen Master.

Thank you all for calling attention to this effect. While studying it, I found that if you use a reversed mem deck, the last phase is automatic (just name the card's stack number). See "Exact Location", in "Mnemonica", for sources.

Old thread, but I just wanted to join the fan club.

This is a wonderful routine and perfect just the way DO teaches it.

As a lefty, I was very happy to learn his Sinister Glimpse. I use it just every time I need to peek at a card these days.

It is nice to have something in the arsenal built specifically for us 10%ers!!

I am sure the Card College books are replete with right handed options.

This is very interesting. I was aware that reversing the stack gave a different (sometimes easier) way to calculate on the fly. I don’t have any trouble doing the required math on the run for ZM, but I will have a play around with this, just to see what difference it makes.

Thanks for reminding me about this principle.

I really do need to re-read my treasured copy of Mnemonica.

Very intriguing. Never thought about this as I've been doing it the normal way ever since Darwin first released his work on this. It certainly opens up other possibilities to think about. Thanks for sharing!

I agree. This keeps my mind open to more possibilities than just what is written. I always try to find ways to suit the tricks to my style, and this definitely suits me!
