The deck cannot be examined. However, this has never come up as an issue. By the end of the effect, there are only three cards in play and they can all be examined. Hope that helps.

I just ordered from Bob Solari (gmcreations.com/bob)
He is a great person to deal with, will answer any questions honestly and completely, has been in business quite a while and has been in magic even longer. I am not affiliated except as a delighted customer.

I have to say... The best part about the effect... The inordinate amount of free drinks it gets...

Glad you liked my review Cameron! I'm enjoying the effect and I think it will be the catalyst to let me finally do magic for people besides the ones I know! I look forward to my paycheck getting processed so I can order Sudden Impact (so it looks like a more utility Wow! and Omega Mutation can wait as a birthday gift =P).

On the dvd I stated that I use Total Annihilation all the time. I did. However, now I'm using Red Hot Annihilation.

I've come around to thinking that it's the most visually direct version of the effect. Also, I don't draw the boxes are the numbers and values. I just spread the deck face down and show two red backed cards, saying, "I put two prediction cards in this deck earlier today." I don't mention anything about marking the cards. The rest is the same.

For those of you who have this, try out the Red Hot Version. I think you'll find it's the most direct way of doing it.

This is GREAT. EVERY time I do this effect- it gets VERY VERY AWESOME reactions. People are blown away. I have even repeated it to someone new, but the last person I did it for was still hanging around- and they were still blown away! The best thing about this is that it is pretty much self working. I must say- GREAT work Cameron!

Looks great. Is there a limit to how deep in the deck the spectator can touch a card?

Yes, but I have NEVER...in at least a hundred times doing this, ever gotten to that point. If I feel I'm going too deep, I stop and make a joke about the spec waiting to choose the prediction card, which would obviously make the "experiment" moot. Don't let this keep you from this amazing effect. It is very manageable.

By the way, the phrase "self working" is a little grating on me... yes, the work is, for the most part, done before you even take the cards out of the box, but, as in sales, the best part of this is "selling the sizzle"... the free choice, the ability for the spec to change his mind, the fact that you have already shown them the prediction cards (at least partially,) the fact that, as I sell it, this is a "double blind experiment," in the fact that neither you nor he knows the card chosen...therein lies the work. Don't take the fact that everything is (appears) fair for granted. The simplicity of this effect can be morphed into something HUGE.

I can also witness to Cameron's earlier post... no one has ever asked me to examine the deck. You've shown them the fronts and the backs (even the prediction cards, partially,) so why would they? It's just so freakin' fair.

I've read many of the kids giving their theories on the workings of this effect on some of the "learn tricks" websites and even on youtube. Always end up chuckling. Guard this secret and you will be held in high esteem.

Wow! Thanks, Steve! I'm really glad you like it! I have to say, sales for this on my site have been brisk! Certainly my best selling dvd. And I think it's been a terrific seller on the BBM site as well.

I've been playing around with different ideas for the deck and have come up with even more thoughts on presentation and routines. Perhaps I'll get around to writing them down and making up a PDF. Of course, it will be free to all who have purchased.

I'll keep you guys posted...

A great way (I think) for concluding the effect that I'm using

"If I get this wrong, I'd love an applause and some cheering for some sympathy, I work really hard at these things, But if I get it right.. let yourselves go wild!"

So in the end after you turn over the 2 isolated prediction cards, you get twice the cheering!
