How come when its slow the strange requests come out in Force, and to top it off, my Girlfreind was visiting and snapped this photo without my knowledge..only to ask, "So this is what you do when I am not around!"

Naw, Fitz, Tucson is alright for what it is....any money in the spring is good money and Tucson fits the bill. Although I have to admit that my little museum this year did not generate the dollars hoped for, but it wasn't a blank.

btw I think I am going to pen a missive for posting here on my grand five year experience in the world of grind shows and mini musuems.... Thoughts will fly, heads might roll and it will be a tell all to reveal all--the good the bad and the seamy underside of the business.

the professor, who at the moment is being blown away, literally in Cottonwood, AZ--a place where 50 mph winds are considered a spring breeze. good thing I learned from the Curator how to drive stakes...

Fitz, having wintered in Phoenix, (Buckeye, Queen Creek) through most of the '80's early '90's...and having played the Phoenix area during that time also..I would have to say, if I ever relocated back to Arizona (Just closed a Bank account I still had there this winter)...It would be in Tucson...Besides,Williams Magic beats the hell outta Bert Easleys, and the TTT Truckstop, well....The ole Roadrunner on I17 has been closed awhile, since they built the "Stack" anyhow...

Kahuna, don't get too blown away, Pecos TX makes Mojave CA, seem calm.....

Are there Necos on Pecos? Me, we just finished sloughing and momma is back in the casino here in Apache land. WE will be back at the homestead in a few days to shake the dust off this three month sojourn--overall, not too bad for being in the middle of a depression....

You know, the coldest days I ever spent were on the plains of Texas outside Killeen---Germany had nothing on a cold bitter wind in Texas....

Hey its a good thing you cant make out the banners. I think some of the upstanding citizens of this forum would take exception to them.

I'm a Phoenix native (yes we really do exist) and I love it here. I mainly went to Tucson for work, and that usually meant installing security cameras in a prison or hundreds of video projectors in schools. Tucson is not high on my list...

Williams Magic is KING as far as magic shops go in Arizona, but the Easily's will always be my family. I literally grew up behind the magic counter, I worked there for seven years in my teens. The magic part of the shop was huge before the fire in the late 90's. That's when I moved onto learning sound and lights, and that's what is still paying my bills to this day.

Tucson is a nice place to visit, if the magic shop is open or there is a nice freak show in town.
