Surprises or no surprises, this is one of the best one day conventions around any where. It is going to be an amazing event and a great time.

OK here is one of the surprises.
Fielding West and Johnny Thompson.

Fielding West will be doing a workshop the night before the Kutztown convention at the Mingus magic shop along with (just added) Johnny Thompson.
Fielding will be covering everything from dove work, stage presence , writing comedy, how to get gigs.
After Fielding, Johnny will take over and do some close up and stage work as well.
Then after the two sessions there will be Q and A's then sit back and enjoy the story time. Fielding and Johnny along with Pam will talk about there life experiences. This is a must.

Date: is Nov. 12th
Time: 7 pm
Location: Mingus magic shop 528 Lancaster ave. Reading PA.

Cost is $25 if you are attending Kutztown convention and $35 if not attending.

****seating is very limited***** and is almost sold out already.

I will not hold a seat for anybody due to limited seating. Must pay in advance.

Cameron Francis is an actor and magician currently living in Gainesville, Florida. As an actor he has appeared professionally on stage in New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and the Hippodrome State Theatre in Gainesville. He has also starred in many commercials and appeared in the feature film “Never Back Down” starring Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou.

As a close up magician, Cameron has performed at dozens of parties, events and restaurants. He has also created many original effects and has not only collaborated with some of the top names in close up magic, including Dave Forrest, Aldo Colombini, Peter Duffie and Richard Sanders, but has also lectured in seven countries including the U.S., England, Germany and Austria. He has had tricks published in Genii Magazine, Magic Magazine, Magician Magazine, Stone Cold Magic e-magazine as well as a monthly column in the British IBM magazine The Budget.

I have posted pictures of my self often at that other forum that we belong to, so I will be easy for you to spot. I really thought your duties at home would keep you in the Nevada desert, but if you can get away we have lots to talk about.

Yeah Al is life of the party at Kutztown, just look for the guy with the lamp shade on his head.

Lamp Shade???? - I thought Al wore the entire Lamp.

I have received several phone calls and e-mails over the last couple days of magicians asking if they can just come Saturday (this Saturday) and register and pay the day of the event.

Absolutely - As we have stated the free meals have been filled but anybody can come up on Saturday and register and enjoy the convention. There are many fine and inexpensive places to eat just a couple blocks from the School.

Just one thing - To register that day we can only take cash or checks. We are not set up for credit cards although I imagine many of the dealers will be set up to take credit cards for your purchases.

Take care - Just a few more days. See you all at Kutztown.

Remind us again, what time do the doors open on Saturday??

Don't forget we will also have lunch available during the day and refreshments and chips through out the night.

Paul , doors open at 9 am and of course the dealers can come early to set up.

It will be nice to see BBM represented at a U.S. convention, apart from DVD's of Cameron and John Bannon's work they have some DVD's of plenty of good U.K. performers.
