I don't know Mr. MindGuru, I think they all look pretty cool. Perhaps your time is more valuable than mine.

They did leave a couple off the list..

Yes, the Museum of Jurassic Technology is amazing. when driving past, if you blink, you'll miss it. But once you're inside it will take a few hours to see everything, much longer to understand what you've seen.

The Mütter Museum is a waste of time?
I had no idea.
Guess I'll skip it...

Don't skip the Mutter, Pete. It should be a place of pilgrimage for folks like us. And if you have the opportunity to visit, let me know, and I'll try too.

How could anyone not like the soap lady, or Chang & Eng's liver, or the cabinets full of objects that were extracted from people's noses and stomachs?

Then you need to get out more!
Part of my last years birthday adventure Sylver took me to the Tuba Museum in Lansing MI and Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum- Dedicated to old penny arcade machines AND home to the fake of the fake original Cardiff Giant, owned by Barnumm himself.

Mindguru...I have a feeling that you and I would not EVER hang out. I'm the sort that would go 60 miles out of my way to see the worlds largest pair of glasses and fake mustache.
In fact, I did.
And I would again!

Harley, don't forget... it is rumored that the Mutter has archived (somewhere and not for public display) a certain appendage of John Dillinger.

Even though these museums aren't for me, I do believe that the world is more interesting with different tastes. So to all those who enjoy these, I hope you keep enjoying.
